Thank You!

I appreciate your support in this Governor's race -- your moral support, your financial
support, your time and your energy. We ran a great campaign and I enjoyed meeting
you and the countless other Louisiana citizens who helped along the way.

We had the message -- repealing the income tax and collecting a fee on foreign oil. It's
the only way Louisiana can be put on a sound financial footing. The political leadership
of this state knows it, and you can bet it will come up again.

We fought a valiant fight. We went all over Louisiana getting to know people and their
concerns. We spent $1.6 million getting our message out, but Walter Boasso spent
$7 million, John Georges $10 million and Bobby Jindal $12 million. It was hard to
     compete with those dollars.

Thanks again for your contribution to this campaign. I am grateful for your support.

     Yours very sincerely,

The Orleans Parish Democratic
Executive Committee Backs Campbell

September 28, 2007 - NEW ORLEANS - The Orleans Parish Democratic Executive
Committee endorsed Foster Campbell for governor Friday night for the gubernatorial
     election on October 20.

“After presentations by both Foster and Walter Boasso, our members voted
overwhelmingly to support Foster, based on his strong leadership, principles and interest
in the working men and women of the New Orleans area and all of Louisiana,” said
Stephanie Butler, chairwoman of the committee.

She said Campbell’s record as a state senator and as a member of the Public Service
Commission demonstrates his commitment to improving the quality of life for all
      Louisianians.

SEE FOSTER'S BOLD PLAN
TO MAKE LOUISIANA THE
MOST PROGRESSIVE STATE
IN THE SOUTH

I have a plan to move Louisiana forward –
the only real fiscal plan you’ll hear from
any candidate for Governor. I’ll invest in
our people, in our infrastructure, and in
building a new economy with more
opportunity for all. It starts with
eliminating the state income tax, on
both individuals and businesses. This will
immediately put $3.1 billion back into the
pockets of Louisiana citizens and
businesses, to spend as they wish. . .

Foster Campbell speaks to community leaders in Baton Rouge.

As I campaign across the state before
the October 20 primary, I’m telling the
people of Louisiana that it’s time for a
bold new beginning to make our state
what it should be.

I’m sick and tired of our low rankings
among the other states on quality-of-
life measures. We’re 49th among
“Most Livable States," 44th in high
school graduation, 46th in health care, 41st in per-capita income. I have a plan to reverse the downward trend and make Louisiana the most progressive state in the South . . .
